The ADT-1 never was launched towards the public, but passed out to designers after Google I/O 2014 like a test device for that new Android TV platform. It did not get much attention from Google past Android 5..2, that was its last official update. However, designers are an unwavering bunch and should they have an Android device laying around, you’d bet that they may attempt to prepare up ROMs for this as lengthy as that’s remotely achievable. (Exhibit A.)

So a couple of XDA people were fed up with seeing the ADT-1 get avoided from OTA updates and made the decision to consider proper care of the problem. Ignore Android 5.1, they need the most recent ‘mallow on their own TVs and thus they have built a brand new ROM in line with the PureNexus project.

To be able to flash this ROM, you will need a custom recovery for that ADT-1 like TWRP, the brand new PureNexus ROM for that ADT-1 that weighs in at about 182MB, a devoted GApps package that will not crash in your device, and also to do as instructed around the XDA thread linked below. When you are done, you will get an Android 6..1_r3 ROM with lots of additions, fixes, and adjustments. Should you ask Artem, this is actually the Christmas gift he only agreed to be wishing for.
